Binary Files

Binary files are those files that cannot be parsed by any of the LRM parser types. LRM processes these files as follows:

  • If the checksum of the base file has changed then the file will be sent out in the next prep kit for all target locales
  • On import, no validation checks are made. The translated file is never read and is always imported successfully.
  • Binary parser files cannot be pseudo-localized nor can words be counted.
